Beth Walker

Beth Walker was the Director of the College for Creative Studies Library, an academic special art library, in Detroit for 17 years, retiring in 2019. She also has experience in corporate, community college and public libraries.
Beth lived abroad for several years before returning to the U.S. to begin her coursework in English, French, art, and pre-nursing. She was a Presidential Scholar in her undergraduate studies at Wayne State, and completed her MLIS at WSU shortly thereafter.
Beth has published and presented world-wide, the most recent being the Art Libraries’ Society UK annual conference in 2017 (“With Ubiquitous access to Information, why would anyone go to the Library?”)
