SLIS Tech Help

Technology is a crucial component of each SLIS class. In order for SLIS students to be successful, they must have daily access to a computer and the Internet throughout their time in the program. All incoming students must meet the School's computer competencies, as well as its minimum computer hardware and software requirement, before the first day of class.

The SLIS Tech Help Desk is staffed by student tech assistants who are ready to help with your technology or computer related questions. SLIS Tech can help with scheduling time in the Digital Media Projects Lab, downloading and installing software from DreamSpark, watching online lectures, connecting to SLIS servers, and any other SLIS-related tech questions.

Questions regarding Blackboard, Academica and WSU Webmail issues can be directed to the C&IT Help Desk (M-F, 8:30 - 5)  or to the Library Computing Help Desk (24 hours most days: Sunday, 11 am - Friday, 9pm; Saturday, 9-5).
