12/06/12 UPDATE - Children's Hospital of Michigan Outreach Program

December 6, 2012

The Wayne State University School of Library and Information Science Alumni are partnering with Hip Hop Knit Shop and Children's Hospital of Michigan to bring sick kids books, toys and stories. Starting November 1 through December 12, we will be collecting books and toys, telling stories, navigating art carts and knitting blankets for the kids at Children's Hospital. In addition to our library partners, Simply Self Storage and the Wayne State University Club Sports Council has also joined our cause. We are so grateful for ALL of you participation!

Thank you to all of our library partners and volunteers! See below for donation locations, book and toy requirements and contact information. This weekend and early next week we will be providing our libraries with bins, pick-up schedules and information brochures.
