Bookstock Scholarship 2013
The Wayne State University School of Library and Information Science is pleased to announce the availability of a full semester tuition scholarship (9 credits) towards the master’s degree in library and information science (MLIS). The scholarship is provided by the Bookstock Fund, which supports reading and literacy initiatives in the Detroit metro area.
The tuition award is designed to support 9 credits of graduate credit for a student with extreme financial need who demonstrates career plans to serve children or youth reading or literacy services (such as a public librarian or school media specialist) in an underserved, urban community in the Detroit metropolitan area.
